Who am I and where do i come from?

I was born in Detroit, and raised in Lansing, Michigan. When I was 13, my parents sent me away to a behavioral modification program, where I spent two and a half years. I graduated high school in 2004. I served in the U.S. Army as a 19D Cavalry Scout for 7 and a half years and completed three combat deployments. I deployed to Iraq for ‘The Surge’ from April 2007-June 2008 receiving my first purple heart, again to Iraq from September 2009-September 2010, then a third time to Afghanistan from February 2012-October 2012 where I received my second purple heart. After getting out of the military I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I continued my education at Eastern Washington University where I graduated with both a Master of Science in mental health counseling and a Master of the Arts in addiction studies. Over the next five years, I would work at several private practices and begin involving myself in the Veteran Community Response events and programs. I currently reside in Spokane Valley, with my wife and three children. Recently I began incorporating all of this knowledge, research, and experience into building Renegade Healing Co.
